            Minister of Construction and Housing

    I am honored to introduce our ministry’s website (Ministry of Construction and Housing), being the minister of an elected government that will go on  for 4 years, I find myself and all the loyal workers in the ministry in a need to cooperate and work hand in hand during the difficult stage that the country is going through ,to achieve the ministry’s goals , firstly by working  to provide a suitable dwelling to any citizen who doesn’t have a home , and to solve this crisis that effects the stability of the Iraqi family ,in addition to other goals according to its importance , and I find myself obliged to work for  providing care for ministries staff to achieve the staff’s stability so they can pursue the reconstruction process, especially in the work fields .

We would like to point out that the following actions are given first priority:

1-      Rehabilitation of companies and commissions in a way to make them able to execute projects efficiently.

2-      Updating and developing the ministry and its companies, to reach developed technologies through cooperation with developed countries and opening of similar centers to benefit from the process of rehabilitation, development, and training of staff.

3-      developing studies and the use of experts and consultants inside and outside Iraq specially from Iraqi universities , and international  training centers ,and to assure the fulfillment  of the ministries goals in all the fields in addition to  executing the governments plans .

4-      Preparing financial resources from donor countries and the organizations in relation to strengthening  the ministries capability in executing its plans, developing programs without depending on the financial treasure  because of its limits.

5-      Fighting corruption that has been passed on from the old regime and that continued because of the difficult situation, through activating internal audit and strengthening its role through its transparent and clear work without demeaning the staff.

6-      Encouraging investment and working to belittle all restrictions and to provide work opportunities to fight unemployment and terrorism through work opportunities.

7-      To work honestly and subjectively in building relations with citizens and to strengthen the trust and respect between staff and working clearly.
We would also like to stress the role of media, we would like subjective and conscious media that covers the ministries activities.

Lastly we would like to work together for building a free, democratic, federal, new Iraq . …. My God help us in serving the Ministry
