Accomplish the Project of the Connecting Road between Abo Floose Port & the Highway in Basra

             An official source in Ashoor State Company for Structural contracting one of the Ministry of Construction and Housing formations said that they accomplished the project of the connecting road between Abo Floose Port & the Highway in Basra.

The source said that the benefit of this project goes to The State Company for Iraqi Ports; the project included soil works about (8000m²) and sub bases works about (9650m²) including fixing the "rutanat"; tiling works with a stabilizers about (6500m²) and cement works with surface layers about (6500m²)  and the shoulders about (1600m²).

The work cost reaches (577) million diners, the execution time was about (180) days with the extra time. The length of the road is about (800m) and (8m) width.

It is worth mentioning that project has a great importance because it gives a great flexibility for the tracks in carrying the goods because the road is between the groves through a soft nature land.

Minister of Construction and Housing Eng. Bayan Dezee stressed on finishing the ministry projects without a stop and try to find quick solutions for the obstacles which abstract the works that assigned to the formations and the Committees of the ministry.
