Minister of Construction and Housing Calls Oman Companies to Invest In Iraq

 

 

                    Minister of Construction and Housing Eng. Bayan Dezee called Oman companies to inter the Iraqi market and invest in all the economic and constructional and housing sectors in the country.

That was when her Excellency received Oman economical delegation headed by (Mohammed Bin Naser Al Khaseeby) General Secretary of the Oman Ministry of National Economy and number of businessmen.

Her Excellency gave a detailed explanation about the work of the ministry and its executive companies in the discussing session between Oman economical delegation and the ministry advanced cadre. Her Excellency said that Iraq needs Arab and foreign capital especially in the housing sector which is witnessing a lack in the housing estates in spite of building number of housing estates by the ministry in all the ministers, Sabaa Abkar housing estates is the latest one in Baghdad.

 Her Excellency declared that the Iraqi government headed by Prime Minister (Noori Al Malikey) introduced all the facilities to the Arab and international investment companies in Iraq through the investment law which was issued lately in the Iraqi Parliament.

 General Secretary of the Oman Ministry of National Economy praised the ministry achievements in spite of the hard circumstances in Iraq. He also expressed his happiness to be here in Iraq and praised the warm welcome and he confirmed that the media gave a bad picture about Iraq and that his visit opened a new ways of cooperation between the two brotherly countries stressing that the security and the economic situation in Iraq is developing and he expected that it will witness a big Oman economic revolution.

Oman minister confirmed that they agreed on activate Oman- Iraq Economic Committee which was formed in 2006 referring that the next step will witness an economic cooperation (Oman- Iraq) on the highest levels.

 Oman businessmen who combined the delegation have a set of queries and questions about the investment in Iraq and about the projects which will supply services for the citizens.

On her side the minister of Construction and Housing gave a short brief about the important projects which is very necessary for the citizens such as building housing estates.
