formations continues work in
executing Al Aabasiat Bridge
which connects Al Najaf and
Babel Provinces. A source in the
company bridges department said
that the total rate of the
bridge accomplishment reaches
75% with a (two milliard seven
hundred and fifty million
dinners) cost and it is hoped to
complete it at the end of the
current year.
The source said that the company
executed casting the concrete
for the approach on Al Hilla
side and making and installing
the metal quarries of the
accomplished spaces and the
metal joints, pulling the rubble
and dust waste of the river,
making all the metal branches of
the other three river spaces and
transferring these branches to
the work site. The source
confirmed that the work is
continued to collect these
branches with the rest spaces.
It is worth mentioning that the
bridge will have an active part
in reducing the traffic jam and
facilitating the movement of the
visitors of the Holy Places in
the days of the religious
occasions because it has a vital
location and an important role
in facilitating transferring
goods and agricultural
crops between Al Najaf and Babel
Provinces.
