Ministry Of Construction and Housing Open Reconstruction
and Rehabilitation Project Of National Council Buildings
The
reconstruction and rehabilitation project of National
Council buildings has opened with The presence of the
Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki ,the First Deputy of the
head of National Council Khaled al-Attiyah ,Minister of
Construction and Housing Eng. (bayan dezee) , head of
the Governorate of Baghdad Mr. (maaeen al-Kadhomi) and
a numbers of officials making it the new site to hold
Iraqi parliament hearings, adding it to the
series
of projects executed by the efforts of Ministry
formations and commissions staff .During the opening the
Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki gave a speech assured the
Iraqi desire to face the challenges, build the country
and defeat the terrorism which seeks to stop the
building wheel and incites sedition between the Iraqi
people .His Excellency also commend the great effort in
reconstruct Iraq made by the Ministry Of Construction
And Housing staffs headed by Her Excellency the Minister
(bayan Dezee ) in Iraq reconstruction.
Her Excellency the Minister Bayan Dezee gave a speech
Expressing her happiness in opening an important
edifice
will be a symbol of the unity of Iraqi people and a
place for gathering the Iraqi representatives, the
members of the Iraqi parliament, promising that the
staff of the ministry will have active role in construct
and build Iraq and achieve the aspirations from the
extreme mountains to the extreme desert and generous
marshes. The project accomplished by Al Rasheed State
Company For Contracting Construction supervised directly
by the Building State Commission and a consultant group
from National Centre for Engineering Consulting.
The projects includes two main buildings: the first
building is 7500m² area with ground floor and two other
floor .the ground floor contained 3 halls :Hamorabi
hall which is the main parliament hall in a circular
dome contained 279 chairs provided by an audio system,
buttons to vote ,two platform for the presidency and 48
chairs for journalists and visitors and two cabins for
control and interpretation, and multi-purpose hall, and
Ministers hall and the presidential suite (6 rooms)for
the Presidency
And 12 rooms to board committees. it provided by place
for prayer and bathrooms, a kitchen and cafeteria. While
the first floor contain al shohada ,al zarqaa ,al
khadraa and al abaaseya halls. While the second service
floor contained pushers and maintenance and motors of
electric elevators. The second building with 8500m² area
in ground floor and two first and second floor .the
ground floor includes a kitchen, cafeteria, room to
machines, Library, room for research and store for
books. and a middle courts contains two
fountain
and healthy total . but the first floor contains 38
space for administrative and accounting, legal staffs
and meeting room . The second floor contains 37 spaces
with a hall for meeting. In the end of the ceremony her
Excellency presents the project armor to the Prime
Minister Noori al Maliky then many developed,
Supervisory and executing staff was honored appreciating
their role in the reconstruction and rehabilitation of
this important national
edifice
