Minster of Construction
and Housing Put the Fundation of the Second Residential
Complex in Al Hella (Al Emam Al Mahdy Complex)
On behalf of
Minister of Construction and Housing, the senior deputy,
Eng. Astabrq Al Shook put the foundation of the second
residential complex in Al Hella, attendance by Babel
governor (Salem al maslmawi), the senior consultant in
Ministry of Construction and Housing (Eng. Bahzad
Ramadan), Director General of Housing State Commission
(Edan Salom), Manager of administrative units in the
governorate, number of tribes leaders and large
gathering of citizens.
The deputy said in his
speech during the ceremony of the occasion that Iraq is
in need to build residential complexes. So studies must
be put and efforts of all sectors must be concentrated
to reduce the gap which happened in lacking of
residential complexes and foreign and local investments
must be attracted in housing field and provisions must
be justified in accordance with the crises.
He added that the
Ministry is executing (27) residential complexes in all
the country and the number of housing units which will
be accomplished after finishing the residential
complexes are (12450) thousand housing units.
He clarified that the
Ministry put a plan to the following five years to build
more housing units to the law income citizens and to the
families of martyrs and prisoners in all governorate.
Mentioning that Babel governorate is chosen from three
governorates (Arbil, al Najaf and Babel) to execute the
studies that the Ministry prepared
The deputy concentrated
on the importance of accomplishing the residential
complex in its time, praising the working and demanded
more.
Mentioning that
Ministry of Construction and Housing is executing
residential complex in Babel in Kas and Sweelam
district. The work in it reaches progressed phases. Al
Emam Al Mahdy residential complex is the second complex
in the governorate.
He also
clarified that the residential complex contain (66)
building i.e. (528) housing units, a primary school
which have (18) classroom, market and kindergarten.
He added that the
housing unit area is 155 m2 .The unit
contains three rooms in addition to the service places
and (2) verandas
He clarified that the project which supervised by the
state commission of housing established on (57) dawnm.
The residential complex contains public gardens, water
network, waste water network and paved the internal
roads and make an internal network
