The State Commission for Road and Bridge Accomplish A Bridge with Its Approaches in Al Anbar Governorate and Execute Two Others Bridges In Karbala and Maysan Governorates

 The State Commission for Road and Bridge announced about accomplishing al Wirwaar Concert Bridge with its approach in Al Anbar. It cost is 1,857 billion dollars.

     A source in the commission said that the bridge length is (192 m) and its width is (12 m). Adding that the bridge is considered an important one in the region; it will facilitate the traffic and reduce the jam in addition to the economic benefit which will be reflected on the region.

 The same source assured that work is continued in Al Hendiya concrete bridge on Euphrates River in Karbala. It cost is (5,321) billion dinars. The rate of executing is (96%). It length is (9 km) with approaches and its width is (15 m) with two passage for returning and departure. The bridge has a strategic importance because it connects the middle governorates with the south one.

 The source explained that the commission is continued in executing Al Dafas Bridge and its approaches north of Al Emara city in Maysan governorate. The cost is (60) billion dinars; the main bridge length is 455 m while its approaches length is (12, 6 km). It pass on (13) districts with three interchanging bridge. The bridge has a strategic importance in reducing the momentum in Al Emara city because it will connect (Baghdad- al Basra) road with out passing through the city so it considered one of the important converter roads. Presently the rate of executing is (16%).
